It's written in a very "sing-song" lyrical style which children LOVE. The story makes sense and is easily followed. I know I will be reading these books to my Grandson over, and OVER and OVER AGAIN. After reading one "Sheep" book, I decided my Grandson would need to have them ALL. The books have cute illustrations.
I'm not sure who enjoys them more, my little grandson or my daughter when she reads them to him. Love these books.
My niece loves the fact that she can turn the pages in this hardboard book and it is fun to read.
She found this book particularly funny. My daughter's teacher recommended this series of books for my 6 year old. She really enjoys them and they are a great series for early readers.
Nice nod to "Baa, baa, blacksheep." with the three bags of wool for the ball. Good basic vocabulary rhyming text for reading to now and alone later.
